Souzan Ali is a poet and playwright, who was born in Latakia in 1984. She studied psychology and journalism at Damascus
University. She has frequently written articles for different Arabic papers and publications for over ten years. She published: Poetry collection (The Woman in My Mouth 2018) by Al Mutawasit Publishing House in Italy, and (I Want to Kill you in a Place that Loves Us 2021) by Merit Publishing house in Egypt, and her play (Version), won the Fujairah Prize 2019.
In 2018, Suzan Ali began her debut on the stage began with (Kuhl Arabi, Arabic Eyeline), at Gallery Mustafa Ali in Old Damascus. The play won the first gold prize at the Carthage International Monodrama Festival in Tunisia in 2019.
