He worked as a cultural affairs journalist in the Algerian Asha’b (The People) newspaper and as a cultural affairs editor in the Al-Masaa newspaper.

He has worked as a correspondent for several Arab newspapers from Paris since the early nineties, and he is the author of the following books.

“Eleven views on Nine Eleven”, a series of talks with Arab and French intellectuals on the September 11th 2001 bombings.
“I love my Homeland, Despite your Reluctance”

Boualem Ramdani is currently the Cultural affairs correspondent for the Diffah Thalitha Arab Cultural Platform, a weekly supplement by the New Arab Media Group.
The French people moved France and the world at the height of the pandemic with the Novel “The Plague”. They found in it an intellectual justification for reminding us of the political background in which Albert Camus wrote it. The same French people rehabilitated “One Thousand and One Nights”, the tales with no known author, which Jorge Luis Borges considers “One of the best historical international texts”. The incredible Arabist André Miquel, now a hundred years old, had translated it into French in cooperation with the late Djamel Bencheikh. It was an added light in the darkness of the pandemic, and it revealed itself as a novel that has become a refuge in bleak times, even if it looked trivial.

Nour Eddine Zorgui is a Broadcaster and an established professional linguist and translator. He has, over three decades, fronted many flagship programmes on BBC Arabic’s Radio and TV including the flagship multimedia interactivity programme “Talking Point” “نقطة حوار” and Hard Talk”بلاقيود” .
He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL) and holds the Institute’s Diploma in Translation and other CIOL qualifications.
His linguistic and translation expertise was much utilised in his work on a series of documentaries for BBC Arabic TV such as “A Screen for the President – Reporting for Bashar شاشة للرئيس ” and was the field reporter for BBC’s documentary on sectarian media in the Arab World “Freedom to Broadcast Hate” “أثير الكراهية”.
